Lunch Bunch Program

 

Monday, Wednesday & Friday, 
12 - 12:30pm ($5 per day)

 

We will be offering a Lunch Bunch program again this year for our four year old class.  Lunch Bunch offers your child a chance to prepare to have lunch on their own during Kindergarten next year and fits in nicely between our four year old program and our Kindergarten Readiness program.  The children will bring a prepared lunch from home and eat together in the classroom, supervised by a teacher.  Please sign your child up on the classroom sign-up sheet on days when they will be participating in Lunch Bunch.  Children are welcome to stay for Lunch Bunch whether or not they are participating in Kindergarten Readiness.

We are pleased to announce an extended Kindergarten Readiness Program this year for four and five year olds.  This class will utilize play-based, hands-on learning and is taught by a certified teacher with previous experience teaching Kindergarten in Huron Valley Schools.  Kindergarten Readiness will begin on Monday, October 12th.

Pre-Kindergarten Program

Monday - Friday, 1:30pm—4:00pm ($225/mo, paid over 10 months)

We are pleased to offer an additional choice to families for the 2010-2011 school year. Our new Pre-kindergarten class will be offered five days a week and is open to children who will be 4 years old by July 1st. If your child will be of the age to enter Kindergarten next year, but their maturity, social skills, and/or emotional growth are still developmentally young, then this program nay be what you are looking for. This program will allow your child to develop stronger independence, self-confidence and problem solving skills. Through enriching experiences, games, music, movement, art and play your child will also further develop fine motor, pre-reading, pre-writing and Kindergarten math concepts. This class is everything your child needs for Kindergarten success!
