Miss Joyce
Joyce Schonsheck is the Director as well as Lead Three Year Old
Teacher with Milford Cooperative Preschool.
In this role, she leads the teaching team and supervises all
aspects of the classroom, including curriculum.
Joyce received her degree in Early Childhood Education from
Oakland
Community College
and has more than thirty years of experience in working with young
children. Before joining
Milford Cooperative Preschool, she worked in a range of child-centered and
preschool programs and most recently spent nine years lead teaching three
year olds. Drawing on several
years experience in the High Scope Approach to teaching, Joyce enjoys
using unique methods and unconventional teaching materials and equipment
in the classroom. Passionate
about working with little ones, Joyce loves to provide experiences that
help children discover the wonder of the world they live in, in a way that
encourages life-long learning. In
her spare time, she enjoys scrap booking, motorcycle rides with
her husband and visiting her three adult children who live far
from Michigan. |
Miss Susan
Susan Osterhart is the Lead Four Year Old Teacher with Milford Cooperative
Preschool. She received her
Bachelor degree from
Western
Michigan
University
, with a minor in Early Childhood Education.
As a certified teacher, she previously taught first grade for the
Huron
Valley
School District
for six years. Drawing on many
years experience in teaching early literacy, Susan loves teaching and
describes herself as a literacy advocate.
Susan and her husband live in
Milford
and enjoy raising their two young children.
In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with
her friends and family.

Miss Dee
Dee Robison is a teacher with many certifications to her credit, including
a Bachelor degree from
Madonna
University
and a state K-8 teaching certificate.
She has many years of experience in a diverse range of childhood
programs including the Early-On Program, teaching emotionally impaired
children in the
Huron
Valley
School District
as well as teaching gifted students in grades K-8.
She has also worked as a presenter and consultant to teachers,
county agencies and daycare providers on early childhood topics.
Dee
’s varied background in teaching and consulting provided the perfect
foundation for her role as a teacher with Milford Cooperative Preschool.
Dee
also currently serves as the Director for the Huron Valley Community
Coalition, a non-profit organization providing tools to parents and
children in support of healthy lifestyles and substance abuse prevention.
An avid learner who enjoys learning new things every day,
Dee
’s varied hobbies include having coached a student team for the National
Engineering Competition, photography, gardening and snowmobiling.
Long-time
Milford
residents, Dee and her husband have enjoyed building their home, welcoming
and raising their two children from Korea
, and traveling in their classic car.

Miss Beth
Beth Ginsbach, who teaches in our three year old class, received a
Bachelor degree in Spanish from
Michigan
State
University
and her Elementary Teaching Certification from
Eastern
Michigan
University
. No stranger to the
cooperative preschool experience, Beth has been actively involved with the
school for years, as all three of her children have attended.
Prior to her teaching position with the school, she also devoted
two years to serving on the Board of Trustees.
Beth has taught Spanish to a wide range of students, from two year
olds to adults and now brings this wonderful enrichment to the preschool
classroom. She also shares her
talents with the community by teaching Spanish in the Milford Library’s
Summer Reading Program. In her
spare time, Beth enjoys gardening, reading and being an involved parent at
Baker
Elementary School
